As a senior charter broker at CharterWorld, she acts as an advocate, and a bridge between clients, captains, crews, and yacht owners. Her process begins with listening - really listening - to what clients want, asking the right questions, and using her extensive market insight to find the perfect yacht and crew combination for each group.

Martha's Story

Sunseeker to charter broker

Martha has been immersed in the world of yachting for over 20 years, crossing the Atlantic from her native Poland to settle in one of the world’s yachting hotspots … Florida in the USA. Her path into the industry began in the Polish shipyards, where she joined a well known yacht builder. They spotted her passion and potential, giving her responsibility to develop their charter team from the deck up. She went on to managed their fleet of yachts before travelling state-side to become the company's USA sales representative.Her love of travel and hospitality has evolved over the years into a highly successful career as a charter broker with CharterWorld, where she prides herself on being deeply involved at every stage of the charter process and helping clients discover the joy of yacht chartering.

Martha’s secret to success is simple: show up, stay committed, always act in your client’s best interest and finish the day with a cold beer or a walk with a dog. Her favourite walking companion being her new puppy Raven (Rae).She is realistic about the work involved in delivering memorable charters for her clients. “Charter brokers don’t spend all day sipping champagne on the back of a yacht,” she jokes. “It’s a lot of behind-the-scenes coordination, late-night calls, contract details, and making sure the magic happens smoothly.”Training in business strategy and marketing, plus membership of key international yachting organisations (including an AYCA Presidency) keep Martha fully engaged with the yachting industry. She has attended countless yacht shows, knows the crews personally and handpicks yachts based not only on specifications but on the quality of the experience they deliver.Educated to masters-degree-level (in Scandinavian Studies), Martha lives a truly international lifestyle, speaking fluent Polish, English and Norwegian and can ask for her favourite beer (and more) in French, Danish and Swedish.
